Esther teaches hatha in a gentle vinyasa flow style with yin in yang and yang in yin. She has a rich movement background which she applies skilfully in her work. Her expertise in yoga asanas is posture realignment through muscle balance and pranic alignment. She offers a strong yet sensitive practice with attention to subtle details. Her approach towards asanas is to adapt the asana to the body and not the body to the asana. She teaches the middle, not extremes. The verbal instructions are specific in direction, integrating knowledge of subtle anatomy. Her voice is a flowing guidance while you move. It enhances your movement awareness from start to end to feel the journey in between. And brings a meditative experience to asana practice. Exactly to the point where we find activity in stillness and stillness in activity.

Although she loves to teach asanas only, she likes to see them as a preparation for the real inside job: meditation. Both in silent sitting and in a dynamic, interactive, experimental way. The foundation of all her teachings is the relation between matter and spirit.
